Ardeo Mermus Hill, also known as Zebo, is a 16.2hh registered Irish Sport Horse that was bred in Ireland by Jerry Moylan. At the age of five, the bay gelding was imported from Ardeo Sport Horses, in Wicklow, Ireland. Ardeo Mermus Hill certainly lives up to his Ardeo name! He is an eye catching barn favorite that enjoys the company of people. Ardeo Mermus Hill is friendly, intelligent, and is stunning to watch move and jump. He is prized for his easy-going temperament and ability to jump. He is a solid citizen that knows his job and is calm and submissive, with good training on the flat. Ardeo Mermus Hill spent the early years of his career in both foxhunting and eventing. He was a First Flight horse traveling through the hunt country at the quickest pace following the huntsman and hounds. Irish horses are expected to negotiate stone walls, gates, fences, huge ditches and steep banks. As such, he is very responsive to succeed, is brave but careful over jumps, is athletic, and has great stamina. Currently, Ardeo Mermus Hill is the eventing partner to Hudsyn Bagwell. Together, they compete in recognized dressage shows and horse trials.
